“I set out on the road and I asked which road goes to the village of Hotovo, where there is a spacious garden. There sits a fair-haired maiden, who is the sister of the rebel fighters. I will ask her, ‘Oh, maiden, dear little sister, where does grandma Lenka, the dyer, live? I want her to dye two flags for me, one green, the other red. The red one is to carry into battle; the green one is to carry in a wedding celebration.”
