Siberia-born, Tatarstan-raised, and now UK-based Russian and Yiddish singer, pianist, composer, and choir director Polina Skovoroda-Shepherd invites you to her spirited, inclusive, international online class exploring Russian and Yiddish song traditions. Polina also tells some fun stories like playing for Boris Yeltsin or collecting potatoes as a school child on a collective farm...
- Mondays for Yiddish, Thursdays for Russian songs
- All are welcome and no previous knowledge of these languages is required!
- A different song taught in every session, each meeting being 40 - 45 minutes.
- Videos are posted online afterward.
- Come to as many sessions as you like. Drop-ins welcome!
- Voluntary payments are appreciated but you can join us free of charge too.
- ∗NEW∗ Some songs will be introduced with harmonies so choir singers will be able to sing with Polina in harmony.

Information about the song, sometimes with audio or video links, will also be here. Occasionally we will repeat our most loved songs so please keep your eye on our repertoire and mark your favorites.
Sing With Me First edition had 70 sessions since the beginning of the lock down and we are starting regular sessions again. We've had up to 90 people joining us from Russia, USA, Australia, Brazil, Iceland, Canada, Ukraine, most of Europe, and New Zealand. New people join every time but we also now have a wonderful and welcoming international Sing With Me community.
