In cooperation with the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive
Kitka is pleased to co-sponsor our Georgian Folk Song mentors Trio Kavkasia performing a live soundtrack to Nikoloz Shengelaia's 1928 silent film, Eliso. One of Russian and Georgian cinema’s greatest silent-film achievements, this historical epic evokes the tragic fate of a nation pacified in 1864 by the Tsarist Russian Empire. Features beautiful portrayals of Caucasus customs and celebrations.

Thank You!

Thanks to the support of more than 200 generous individuals, Kitka was able to successfully match our $20,000 NEA grant for the creation and presentation of Eric Banks' I will remember everything! We are deeply grateful to our Village for helping us to realize this project of historic importance!

Following our June 20-22 world premiere performances, Kitka recorded I will remember everything. We are working on post-production now and hope to release the new album by Women's History Month, March 2015.
