Community World Music Concert to benefit the El Sobrante Valley Legal Defense Fund

at the East Bay Waldorf School

The lands above the Waldorf School are directly threatened by two large housing developments, which would greatly diminish the quality of life in the area. Proceeds from this concert will aid the effort to stop these developments and protect our area's beautiful open spaces.

Local residents and the school join together to present four internationally-known Bay area ensembles, principal members (including Kitka's Janet Kutulas) of which live or have lived in the El Sobrante Clark Road neighborhood.

Kitka - Eastern European women's vocal ensemble
Keith Terry and friends - Body Percussion and Rhythm Dance
Gamelan Sekar Jaya - Balinese music and dance
